Made on location in Brighton in 1968 and using the West Pier for many of sequences, Oh What a Lovely War is an anti-war musical that offers a challenging and provocative representation of the First World War. Presented by the West Pier Trust (to coincide with the 150th Anniversary of the opening of the West Pier) and the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts in tribute to the film’s director, Richard Attenborough, it is introduced by Frank Gray (of CineCity and Screen Archive South East).

Pay What You Decide
There are up to 20 Pay What You Decide (PWYD) tickets available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Come and see the show without paying anything in advance, and then pay what you think is appropriate at the end of the show. Maximum of four PWYD tickets per person. Concessions
The Concessions rate is available for students, University of Sussex students, Over 60s and people receiving JSA or DLA/PIP. Proof of eligibility may be required on the door or at the box office (if collecting).
