With a clutch of international awards to its name and several works written for it by leading composers, the Jacquin Trio is rapidly establishing itself at the forefront of young ensembles to note. Its versatility is perfectly demonstrated in a concert that places works by the British composer Charlotte Bray alongside contrasting pieces by Mozart, Schumann, Stravinsky and Bartók, and brings the trio repertory right up to date with the world premiere of a new work by Colin Matthews.
