About
As part of the expanded season around Fort Process festival, Lost Property present a rare live and extended audiovisual performance from Phill Niblock.
Niblock’s pioneering work in abstract music and experimental media has inspired generations of artists. Poised somewhere between psychoacoustic sound studies and avant garde composition, his influence has carried through his early tape based work into the digital collages of more recent material.
Niblock’s distinct use of layered microtones creates otherworldly stretches of beguiling music, blending atmospheres found among celebrated minimalist and ambient composers.
Tim Shaw is an artist investigating the interactive relationships between technology and space. These explorations manifest in refined installations, performances and site specific interventions, occasionally in collaboration with other renowned practitioners.
Funding support from Arts Council England, with production support from Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts.
