Brighton Modular Festival
Over three days, the Brighton Modular Festival returns to Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts and the University of Sussex campus for the third year in the festival's 7 year history.
The weekend begins with a companion pre-festival #ladiesofmodular event for women and non-binary people on Friday the 19 July at the Sussex Humanities Lab featuring talks and discussion, as well as a DIY synth workshop.
Saturday the 20th is host to DIY workshops and live performances (further details will be published at brightonmodularmeet.co.uk), while Sunday the 21will feature industry and artist-led talks, demos and performances, and a free and open industry and enthusiast-led table-top ‘meet where visitors and participants can expect a wide range of modular synthesizers, both audio and video, on show from developers and manufacturers that range from small one-man-bands, all the way up to large and long established companies, as well as those designed and built by artists, musicians and synth DIY enthusiasts – bring your modular gear!
