An afternoon workshop in which participants learn how to build a Nobots module DIY kit of their choice, step-by-step. The workshop will cover the basics - from what a circuit board is made from and why you should know, to practical tips and tricks to make building modules a breeze.
Participants can choose between building a Nobots Double Buff or Double Mix, with the option to buy another module at a reduced rate.
The practical element of the workshop will consist of a step-by-step tutorial covering both through-hole and surface mount techniques, enabling the participant to build practically any DIY kit. It will also cover tips and tricks for debugging boards that don’t work first time.
No experience is required, just a passion for modular and making. The workshop is designed for anyone looking to get into building DIY kits. Whether this is your first attempt DIY, if you’ve built a couple and are still struggling to get your solder to stick, or if you’re looking to gain confidence with surface-mount soldering - this workshop is for you.
