About
Three outstanding young music ensembles will come together on Sunday 9 July for their first ever performance at the newly renovated Attenborough Centre for Creative Arts. Brighton Youth Orchestra and Brighton & Hove Youth Percussion Ensemble will be fresh from their tour of Poland, the week previous, and Brighton & Hove Youth Big Band on top form after performances at Brighton Festival and Westdene’s Big Lunch in May and June. The programme for the night will include junk percussion, jazz greats and Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2 as well as a collaborative finale item of Siyahamba with over 100 young musicians coming to the stage.
This promises to be a concert of outstanding talent and a musical programme to appeal to every ear.
